To proceed with applying, visit the BPSC portal: www.bpsc.gov.bd. This is the authorized portal for BCS exam announcements and applications. Keep away from unofficial websites.

Step 2: Download the Circular

Find the latest BCS exam circular under the “Notices”. The circular contains all essential information, such as requirements for application, application deadlines, examination syllabus, and other key instructions.

Step 3: Check Eligibility

Examine the conditions, which include age limits, educational qualifications, and citizenship requirements. The usual age limit is within the range of 21–30 years for general candidates, but exceptions apply for specific groups such as freedom fighter descendants or disabled individuals.

Step 4: Register Online

Navigate to the BCS Online Application Form (Form 1). Complete all mandatory fields, such as your personal information, academic qualifications, and job preferences. Cross-check for any inaccuracies. Providing invalid information can lead to cancellation.

Step 5: Upload Documents

You must upload a recent copyright-sized photograph (with dimensions 300x300, file size below 100KB) and your signature (with dimensions 300x80, file size below 60 kilobytes). Make sure these comply with the requirements mentioned in the circular.

Step 6: Pay the Application Fee

After uploading your application, you will receive a User ID. Use this ID to settle the application fee through Teletalk SMS services. The fee is usually 700 taka for general candidates and BDT one hundred for others. Follow the instructions provided in the circular.

Once the fee is paid, you will obtain a confirmation SMS with a Transaction ID. Keep this ID for future reference. Return to the application portal to confirm the payment status.

Send your application well before the deadline to prevent last-minute errors.

Print a copy of the finalized document for future use, such as for downloading the admit card.

By sticking to these guidelines, you can submit your form successfully for the BCS exam and advance toward your ambition in the Bangladesh Civil Service. Best of luck!
